Applying to QuestLeadership is free of charge, and the application is open to current high school sophomores and juniors from across the country. We cannot accept applicants who will have graduated from high school by the time they would have participated in the summer program. You do not need to receive an invitation in order to apply to QuestLeadership, though we do recruit a large number of students through guidance counselors, past Quest Scholars, and PSAT or ACT scores.
The application to QuestLeadership typically becomes available on February 1st, and is due in mid-March (for this year’s exact dates, please visit our admissions page). The application is completed online, and is designed to be very similar to most college forms. The application contains many types of questions (from short, one-sentence prompts, to longer essays), and is intended to give applicants a variety of opportunities to tell the admissions staff about themselves. You can view a sample of the application (or the actual form itself during admissions season) on our admissions page.
We are often asked who is most qualified for QuestLeadership. Our guidelines document contains detailed information that may be helpful to you. If, after reading these guidelines, you are still unsure, you may also fill out our optional Application Inquiry Form available from the admissions page.
